Okay, so I really did not mean to take forever to update my weight loss diary. I expected to be on entry 20 by now, but sometimes things just don't work out the way you want them to. Anyway, I've been doing great on my health journey this week. Last week I began to start slacking, but got right back on track. I've been exercising more and I have lost a total of 18lbs! For my first goal I have another 37lbs to go, but I don't like to countdown like that. I am not going to list everything that I've eaten today because It's early morning here so I wouldn't have much food to log. However, I can post my goals for today on here. Again, I am so sorry about my lack of diary updating and I hope to update more frequently!

Goals:

Become more consistent with exercising

Drink More Water

Drink More Tea

Make a very creative recipe

Eat more fruit

This is probably going to be the most personal part of my website, but I believe that it is very necessary. Those who are dedicated to improving their health sometimes forget that we all make mistakes. There is not one person who has never had a slip up. The entire point of my Weight Loss Diary is to share with all of you my personal triumphs, and failures. I plan to record my progress on here religiously and I hope you all are inspired by it. REMINDER: This is a true diary. Whatever I put down here is what I really ate. Another reminder is that I am currently following the Atkins Weight Loss plan so what I eat may be a bit different from the traditional food diary.

What I ate today:

Breakfast:
3 homemade cinnamon almond,blueberry Atkins pancakes
6 strawberries
3 strips of bacon

Lunch
2 ounces of pepper jack cheese

Dinner
A fresh spinach salad with almonds, soybeans, onions, mild cheddar cheese, topped with Cesar dressing.

Snack

Creamy Green Tea with 2 packets of Splenda Sweetener


Reflection: As I look over everything that I ate today, I can see that I did not eat as much as I should. I personally have a problem with organizing my meals which tends to be my downfall. I am proud of all the fruits and protein that I consumed. 

Tomorrow's Goals

1. Start up my exercise routine again (I've been slacking for a few days)
2. Drink more water
3. Have a larger lunch
4. Increase the amount of tea I consume
